Jean Upton, LPN of Moorings Park Home Health, Entertainer, Naples, Florida
Jean Upton has been singing since the age of 3 years from "I'm a little teapot", to "Gospel", "Country", "Classic 20's - 40's" and "Oldies 50's-60's. Her unique voice sets her apart from other singers. If you hear her, you'll never forget. Upton states that "it is a God given talent." She enjoys expressions in song, mother of three, and grandmother of five, soon to be a great grandmorther in 2009. Born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, she has resided in Naples for 25 years. Upton is (LPN) of Naples Moorings Park, Medicare Nurse by day and entertainer by night. From her sounds of Connie Frances to her much loved redishtions of Patsy Cline, her grandfather and father were ministers, and several of Upton's seven brothers are also ministers. She sings gospel with that old fashion style Upton states, "just like my grandparents used to sing them to me."

Marco Island, Florida has a great community spirit...and the cooperation among island entertainers is incredible. We have annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies, 4th of July and Easter Beach Celebrations. My favorite charities include Marco Island YMCA, "Wishing Well" Foundation, Hospice, and Via Calorie/Naples Home for Abused Women.
We've also played for the Goodland Boat Parade...crazy nights at the Little Bar...and had wonderful times at the Florida Folk Festival!
